OPTIONS TO STAY
Tailor made
You pick from the menu what you want ‘a la carte’ style.
Stay with 2 or 3 in ‘La petit maison’ a tinyhouse with kitchen and bathroon, or in ‘la maison’ with a 4 person room with bathroom, kitchen and a livingroom with a big open kitchen. We also offer a mor low budget option. Our super cute retro caravan, you will love it!!
If you want we will guide you to the best surfspots for your level so you will be at the right place at the right time. Off course we can also join you for some help in the water.
Besides the surfing we could show you around the beautiful Finistere nature and culture. Ofcourse you are free to just go on your own adventure and come home to join us at the end of the day around the diner table, in france this is called ‘table d’hôte’.
If you prefer you can use the kitchen to cook for yourself or go out for diner in one of the nice restaurants in Audierne and Pont Croix.
Surf weeks
The surfhouse project, Côte et Rêve is open since autumn 2022. Ever since we have been organising all inclusive “ Chez Marine and Jord ” style surf weeks in Bretagne.
Expect good surfing, great vibes and even better food! We keep it small scale with a maximum of 6 per group.
Family holidays
During the summers families can stay with us for all inclusive surfy holidays. Sleep with the whole family in the house, the private studio or in our caravan. Or kids in the tent and parents in the house ;)
Enjoy the luxury of an all inclusive holiday. No cooking and no groceries to do!
We love to be able to have the full attention for our guests. With two families per week manage to keep it real.
“CHEZ MARINE & JORD STYLE”
This means you’ll be staying at, and living in our home or the retro caravan in the garden. This in turn means that you’re part of the surf family. It makes your stay tailor made and flexible. You can expect great surf guiding/coaching, good vibes and family style French cuisine. There’s a lot to do and see in Brittany so take a walk, bike around, surf, snorkel, kayak or SUP your way up the river.

Jord Fortmann, 37
Born in the Netherlands
Jord is a free surfer and total food lover. He is a very kind, spontaneous and honest guy. 23 years of experience in the water made him a true surf Guru. In the ocean you are safe around him knowing he is a trained lifeguard. Spend time with Jord in the water and you will learn a lot!
He loves kids, maybe that’s because he is still one himself!
Marine Fortmann, 35
Born in France
Marine is a surfing mama, with style..! She grew up on a sailing boat, travelling with her parents all around the world. She likes photography and film. Treat her well and you might get some good shots! Besides surfing and cooking yummie food she works as a nurse, so we are in good hands.
Above all she is funny and sweet like no other!
SURF’S UP!
Bretagne is possibly one of the best areas to surf
thanks to its immensely diverse shore lines.
This means that there’s always a break working
for any level within a small vicinity.
We’ve got a beautiful spot in our backyard that works
well with bigger swells in spring, fall and winter.
LET’S GO SURFING
Right place right time
When you stay with us you will get daily spot guiding. The night before or during breakfast we will inform you about the surf conditions. We make sure you get to the surf spot matching your level.
We, ourselves, surf on a daily basis and spend time on the beach to coach guests. If you decide to surf at the same spot as us you can count on some support or tips in the water as well!
Guided surf sessions
We join you to the beach that suits your level and make sure you understand the ins and outs of the spot. We paddle out together and will keep an eye on you!
To join sessions like these we expect you to be autonomous in the water.
Before entering the water on a new spot we will make you understand the situation of the waves, wind, tide and possible currents.
If you have never surfed before
For those without any experience we will provide a safe space to start. After that we set you free and show you what beaches are safe to practice by yourself. Of course you can ask us anything and if you surf at the same spot as us we will keep an eye on you and give you the necessary tips.
You can also go for daily surf lessons. We will hook you up with a local surf school!

If you drive to us by car you can park it at or close to the house.
It is a bit of a drive but once you are here you have the freedom to go anywhere.
Are you planning to stay with us without your own transport?
For just a bit of petrol money you can drive with us to the beach!
We can also pick you up from the airport or train station in Quimper.
